Peggy Haymes, M.Div., MA, LPC, is a counselor and minister, who has helped people from all over the world heal from the losses in their lives. Susan Lautemann, MBA, MAEd, LPC, is a counselor and the founder of Grace Court Counseling in Winston-Salem, N.C. Together, they established PetCaring in 2005 to help pet lovers around the world heal from the loss of a pet. They have over 30 years experience in helping people as they move through the journey of grief and healing and a lifetime of caring for and loving the pets in their own lives.

The best resource for grief and healing from loss

I thought I could not go on when we lost our beloved golden retriever, Molly, but this is the most wonderful, gentle, poignant CD. Peggy and Susan say everything I needed to hear--that our tears are not a weakness but honor our deep connection to our pet, that our hearts are wide and we can weep and smile at the same time, and that we can still talk to our pets, that the grace they gave us all their lives is still there supporting us from beyond.
With great sensitivity, Peggy and Susan speak about the painful decisions we must sometimes make to euthanize our pet; and that when we are ready to receive another pet into our lives, it is not disrespectful to the pet we have lost, but a testimony to what the pet gave us.
This CD is for anyone who has ever loved an animal. Now we need a similar CD to help us when we lose a person we love.
