About the Author
Born John Bryant Hicks in 1965, he was one of eleven children growing up in a three-bedroom home in a suburb of Los Angeles. He attended Parochial school for most of his school years, graduating in 1983. For the last 20 years, John has been a Los Angeles City Firefighter where he now holds the rank of Firefighter/Paramedic. Today, John is married with three children and still lives locally. He began writing books late in his life by accident. What was supposed to be a 15-page idea for a movie soon became a book of just under 200 pages, and he hasn’t had a good night’s sleep since. Waking up in all hours of the night with ideas in his head, he has written two other novella length books, My Buddypack and Divided World. He is currently working on his forth novella length book.
