That is how Donna B. McCaslin came about creating My Medical Assistant, an organizer for personal medical Information.
As a traveler she carried her medication list with her. However, she realized she needed more facts and an organized way to keep the frequently requested information. When she was unable to find anything on the market to meet her needs, she set out to design an organizer that would be flexible and allow her to manage all her medical information.
Her background consists of 30 years of secretarial experience including eight years in a hospital working both in patient treatment areas and administration. However, the resource that she drew on most was her personal experience. At some point in time she had to provide information to medical personal in all the areas addressed in the book. Several medical professional including doctors, chiropractors, dentists, nurses, EMTs and other patients provided input and support to the development of My Medical Assistant.
Donna and her husband Leon, a retired teacher, are the parents of two daughters, have two grandchildren and a special poodle, Smokey. They live in central Pennsylvania but are ?snowbirds? that spend the winter months in Florida. Donna enjoys traveling, genealogy, cross stitching, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

An excellent Recorder/Journal for those who may have significant or multiple Health Problems.
There are enough categories (Tabs) to cover most of one's personal Health information. since I received
and entered the 'information' asked for; I, along with my family, now have a more detailed format - in one
place - to access my most necessary (Type I-Brittle Diabetic) data. Yearly calendar is outdated -but - I was
able to overcome this by creating my own. (3) hole punch Binder with re-fillable tabs and pages; it can't be
any easier than this.

This is a wonderful organizer.

I think this medical organizer is wonderful. It is very organized and covers everything. At first I thought I wanted it to be larger but then I realized it is better small because I can just throw it in my purse. I recommend this organizer to anyone who wants to keep track of their medical history whether it be a long history or short. Everyone should have something like this because you never know what will happen and it is good for our loved ones to refer to if we end up in the hospital.

128 pages ???????

i'm 65 year's old this december and have several medical problems , that's the reason why i bought this medical assistant organizer , i want all my medical records to be in just one place, portable and visible . after reading the reviews about this organizer i said to myself ... this is it ! this is the one i'm looking for. when my order arrived today i'm so excited but .... not so happy for the reason that what i'm expecting is an organizer with 128 pages as what they said in their product description and i can honestly say that my organizer has only a total of 62 pages excluding the 10 tab's , calendar is missing as it should be also included in the 3 ring binder. i think the publisher should be honest in describing this item as most of us consumers or buyers are depending our buying decision basing on what they are telling . the description about the number of pages is deceiving , sorry to use this word but that is the truth . so for those who are thinking or considering to buy this medical assistant organizer be aware that the total No. of pages are only 62 and not 128 as what they said .
